Introduction

For practitioners who wish to be re-accredited after their initial five-year accreditation they should apply to be re-accredited prior to the end of their current certificate.

For those who have already lapsed over the five-year period we will be allowing you to apply for revalidation up to the 01 April 2025. After that you will need to apply via the prospective route.

To start your application, please either download the paperwork below or contact the Accreditation team via email at accreditation@poetts.co.uk to receive the paperwork you need to complete.

How to apply

For revalidation you must include in your application:

  • Copy of current accreditation certificate from POETTS
  • Evidence of reporting a minimum of 25 tests a year
  • Evidence of at least 10 tests to be externally validated by a POETTS accredited member
  • Complete and have (wet ink or electronic signature) sign off Paperwork by a POETTS accredited member with evidence of the above

Once you have all this information, please email the above paperwork to accreditation@poetts.co.uk for revalidation and to receive your certificate.

Your application will not be processed until you have provided all the documentation listed above.

Current turnaround time for revalidation accreditation is 30 days.
